Diversity University Fund

The Diversity University Fund embodies our commitment to supporting and uplifting diverse communities in their pursuit of higher education. This fund is specifically created to benefit high school seniors of Black or BIPOC descent who participate in our annual Diversity University Summit held each fall. Through a random selection process, one Summit attendee will be chosen to receive this financial award. The fund acknowledges that while tuition and textbooks are significant expenses, there are numerous other costs associated with college life that can create additional financial strain. These may include dorm essentials, transportation fees, meal plans, and other day-to-day necessities. For the current year, the fund will provide $900 to assist with these often-overlooked expenses, with the possibility of increasing the award amount in subsequent years. Our ambitious goal is to raise $20,000 for this initiative, allowing us to expand our impact and support more students in the future. By establishing this fund, we aim to not only alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by students but also to celebrate and foster the invaluable cultural diversity that enriches our educational institutions and broader society.
