Our story
Diego Rene Cardoza was a wonderful, smart young man with a good sense of humor and a big heart. He was ready to start his first year of High School- He loved his family, hanging out with friends, music, dancing, working on cars, fixing things, and anything outdoors. Diego lost his life at the tender age of 14 due to a TBI. Diego would have been a graduating senior this year, class of 2024. Diego's family and Friends would be so honored to award to a student from Texas, a scholarship in his memory. We hope they enjoy college as much as he would have. We are creating a fund to be able to help us make these scholarships possible. Thank you for reading Diego’s story.

It’s always hard losing a loved one and I could never imagine a child. I look at my senior and hope and pray everyday she enjoys her life. We do talk about Diego and pray for him. to always having the loving memories and always having a angel looking down on you and your family.
