Detective Sergeant Robert Feliciano "Impact" Scholarship Fund

My Dad was a legend. A well respected, admired, retired NYPD Detective Sergeant, Police Commander of the joint FBI-NYPD task force, a veteran drug intel officer, and founder of a private security business alongside his brothers called, "Impact Security Services". My Dads commitment and passion to his profession was honorable and inspirational. He was a leader who displayed tolerance, respect and integrity. He took pride in helping others. Although well-known and adored in his professional life, his most cherished job was being a family man. He was born in Puerto Rico and came to New York at the age of 5. He never forgot where he came from and was sure that our family was always rooted in our culture. He took care of everyone, gave everyone opportunities, and was as loyal as they come. What I most admired about my Dad is that you didn't have to be blood in order to earn his love and time. His leadership qualities were evident in and out of the house, and anyone who came across him raved about the knowledge, relatability and uniqueness he displayed. My Dad was about walking the walk and not just talking the talk. Described as a true icon, a dinosaur, a wealth of respected knowledge and a legend. My sisters and I couldn't be prouder to open up a scholarship in memory of a man we were lucky enough to call Dad.
