Derby City Scholarship Fund

Community isn't built by waiting for others to act; it’s built by those willing to step up today. I am launching this scholarship fund to support high school seniors in Louisville who are actively pursuing their goals despite the obstacles in their path. My goal is simple: to provide a hand-up to the students who are putting in the work. We see your ambition, we value your drive, and we are here to make sure your journey doesn't stop because of a lack of resources. The future of Louisville can't wait, and neither can I. I believe that talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. Growing up in Louisville, I saw firsthand how not having the proper resources held back some of our brightest minds. I am starting this fund because I want to ensure that a student’s ZIP code or bank account doesn't determine their ability to contribute to our community's future. This scholarship isn't just a check; it’s a vote of confidence in a Louisville senior who is ready to work hard but needs a hand up to reach the finish line.
