Our story

Daniel R. Torres was a strong believer in the importance of having dreams and the ability to “Complete Your Dream” by setting goals and taking the necessary steps to achieve that dream. Daniel's completed dreams included many personal accomplishments. Daniel graduated from Lake City High School and was a two time State Champion in Lacrosse. He attended North Idaho College and received an Associates of Arts Degree with emphasis in Anatomy and Physical Therapy. He attended The American Institute of Clinical Message and obtaining certification as a License Clinical Message Therapist. He learned to backpack, how to bow hunt and track game. He loved snowboarding, wakeboarding, wake surfing among many other outdoor activities. He backpacked across Europe, traveling to Amsterdam, Switzerland, Spain, France and Germany, as well as Aruba, Alaska, Australia, Hawaii and the Bahamas, among many other places. In the midst of completing his own dreams, Daniel would always try to help others in many different ways, in doing so, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Daniel enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. He loved the outdoors, the forests, rivers and lakes, he was inspired by its beauty.

Our goal

The family's mission is to create a scholarship fund in memory of our son and brother Daniel R. Torres. Daniel always said to “Complete Your Dream”. The scholarship fund is intended to inspire and motivate graduating students and show that it is possible to complete your dreams no matter how small or large they may be.
