Our goal

This fundraiser aims to support two impactful scholarships: The Caring Futures Scholarship and The First Responders Future Award. The Caring Futures Scholarship Program is dedicated to empowering aspiring social workers committed to making a lasting impact on individuals and communities. Contributions to this fund break down financial barriers, enabling talented individuals to pursue education in social work and become advocates for the marginalized, catalysts for social justice, and pillars of support for those in need. Simultaneously, The First Responders Future Award supports individuals pursuing education and ongoing training in emergency services such as EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and police officers. The goal is to alleviate financial barriers and foster a skilled and dedicated first responder community by awarding scholarships for both entry-level and continuing education in these crucial fields. By participating in this fundraiser, you are investing in the future of compassionate social workers and first responders, contributing to the betterment of society through education and support. Together, we can build a network of caring individuals and skilled professionals who will shape a more inclusive, empathetic, and resilient future.

My daughter Deanna and son-in-law Frank are wonderful examples of choosing careers where they made less money while giving back to their communities.
