Our goal
All proceeds from this fund will go towards the CTRLHER Women in Tech Scholarship, which was created to support Black and African American high school girls pursuing Computer Science at HBCUs by providing financial assistance, mentorship, and community. Growing up, I often found myself as the only Black young women in STEM spaces, navigating environments where representation, encouragement, and mentorship were limited. It was not until attending an HBCU and being surrounded by Black excellence in technology and engineering that we truly understood the power of community and visibility.
Through CTRLHER, we hope to create the support system we once needed by helping young Black women confidently pursue careers in tech, connect with mentors, and feel empowered to thrive in spaces where they belong. This scholarship is more than financial support, it is an investment in the next generation of Black women leaders in technology.
