Our story
Our Brother, Anthony Ciccone tragically passed away at the age of 33 years old. Anthony was a pillar in his beloved town of Hopatcong New Jersey, and had an immediate impact on anyone who had the privilege to meet him. Anthony had a larger than life personality and had a heart of gold. Anthony not only loved his community but had an affinity for wrestling. More commonly known to the wrestling community as “Coach Frank,” Anthony dedicated his precious time to coaching the children of the Hopatcong Youth Wrestling program. When Coach Frank showed up to practice he immediately lit up the room, the kids loved him dearly and his presence resonated on the mat. There are very few instances in life where somebody comes along and has a positive impact on your life, Anthony was one of them. There will never be a way to replace our beloved Coach Frank, however through this Scholarship program we hope to have his name and legacy live on forever.
This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Coach “Frank” Anthony Ciccone by supporting students who share his love for wrestling.
Our goal
We are starting this fund to honor our brother, Anthony Ciccone, who tragically passed away at the age of 33 years young. More commonly referred to in the wrestling community as Coach "Frank." We want to honor the life and preserve his legacy through the "Coach" Frank Anthony Ciccone Scholarship fund.
