Our story

The Clarence Maurice Logan, Jr. (CML) Music Scholarship was created in honor of a beloved son who loved the art of music. Music is responsible for the happiness and creative expression of many people of all ages and backgrounds. With the high costs of musical instruments and instruction, many families rely on school music programs in order to introduce their children to the artistic world. Unfortunately, music often goes underfunded, leaving many schools with inadequate music programs or a total lack of them. As a result, many students never get the opportunity to explore their musical aspirations. This scholarship aims to support students who are passionate about pursuing music and fighting to keep music in schools.

Our goal

This will help to fund the CML Jr. Scholarship, that will go on to support underrepresented students pursuing careers in music.
