Chhin Lor Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund was created in memory of my father, whose life was defined by perseverance and an unwavering belief in education as a pathway to opportunity. He rose from adversity time and again through hard work, integrity, and determination, proving himself not through privilege but through effort. He was a fierce advocate for education and a patron of the arts, believing that learning—both academic and creative—builds not only opportunity, but character and fairness. As a life long student himself, he understood how transformative access to education can be, especially for those navigating that path for the first time. The goal of the Lor Memorial Scholarship is to support a first-generation student who reflects these values: resilience, curiosity, commitment to learning, and perseverance in the face of challenge. This fund is intended to grow over time, allowing his legacy to live on by helping students build opportunity through education, creativity, and hard work.
