Our story
Charlene K, Howard was a academic advisor to students at Florida A&M University and Florida State University. Throughout her career at both campuses, she became a mentor for meaning. As a graduate of FSU, she join the Iota Sweethearts Inc., sisters to the men of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. Her services to the community and to the brothers of Iota Phi Theta was consistent and helped the Gamma Chi Chapter since she become a sweetheart. She mentored many of the students who joined Iota Phi Theta and become a mother, aunt, and family figure to many of the brothers even after they graduated. She joined Zeta Phi Beta and illustrated the same dedication. She used this dedication to create her on mentorship program called "Chogo". This program embodied womanhood, leadership, community, and mental health. Losing Sister Howard has left a scare in many people's lives and her presence has been missed.
