Our goal

Our beloved Cash Ryder Lanspeary passed away in July of 2025, three months before his 13th birthday, after a year-long battle with leukemia. Cash was passionate about drawing and had hoped to pursue a career in the arts. Sadly, Cash’s life was cut short before he was able to live out these dreams, but he would have wanted other kids to follow in his footsteps and make their mark on the artistic world.  This fund will be used to create the Cash Ryder Lanspeary Art Scholarship, which seeks to honor Cash's life and memory by supporting students who share his love for drawing and the arts.

“Art washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life.”

Cash Ryder was one of the most creative kids I have ever known. From the day I met him he was always creating artwork building LEGO creations and turning simple pipe cleaners into something amazing. Even during his time in the hospital, his imagination never stopped. This scholarship is a beautiful way to honor Cash and keep his creative imagination alive through other children. If only love was the cure. Cash, you are missed beyond words and remembered every day. ❤️

In loving memory of my son Cash, whose imagination knew no limits and whose creativity brought so much joy to those around him. Art was one of the ways he expressed himself, explored the world, and shared his unique perspective. It means so much to our family that this scholarship will help other young artists pursue their own creative dreams. Thank you for honoring Cash’s life and keeping his creative spirit alive through the opportunities this scholarship will provide
