Carlos Flores (Rocking through Kindness) Grant Fund

This page will be used to fund the Carlos Flores (Rocking through Kindness) Grant, in honor of a beloved friend who passed away before his time but made a marked impact during his short life. Carlos was extremely passionate about music and was a talented guitar player who expressed himself through his art. He is remembered as being hardworking, dedicated, and incredibly kind to all who were lucky enough to know him. This scholarship aims to honor the life of Carlos Flores by supporting students who share his love for music. Any high school student in Texas who plays guitar and is pursuing music may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are overcoming challenges and/or financial hardship, yet persevering, and if they demonstrate a spirit of kindness.
