Camari Hunt 4x Foundation Scholarship Fund

Honoring the Legacy of Camari Hunt Our son, Camari Hunt, was a beacon of life and laughter. Tragically, his life was taken on January 31, 2025, leaving our family heartbroken and searching for answers. He was 23 y/o. Amid this unimaginable pain, we are determined not to let his light dim but to honor his memory and legacy in a way that reflects his incredible spirit and contributions. Camari was an outstanding scholar, set to graduate with his diploma on May 31, 2025—a testament to his hard work and dedication. Beyond academics, he was an integral part of New Direction Church, actively participating in both the Men's Ministry and the Audio Visual and Technology Ministry. His passion for this field led him to graduate from an Audio Visual and Technology Apprenticeship program, and he was poised to begin an exciting new role with the 40 West Digital program. There, Camari would have not only advanced his own career but also mentored and trained new students in the trade—a role perfectly suited to his natural leadership. Camari's leadership extended far beyond his career ambitions. He was a Youth Mentor and Coach with Evolve International, Inc. a community-based program where he was celebrated as an exemplary role model. In his honor, they have since created the Camari Hunt Exemplary Leadership Award. Camari also channeled his love for lacrosse by coaching youth teams with the Eastside Lacrosse program, sharing his passion for the sport while inspiring younger players. This scholarship fund is more than just a way to commemorate Camari's memory—it is an opportunity to continue his legacy of helping others, fostering education, and inspiring future generations. Through this initiative and the Camari Hunt 4x Foundation, we aim to preserve his passion for service, mentorship, and community impact.
