Our story

Brooks Martin was born to Tim and Amy Martin on January 27, 2009. Born prematurely, he quickly grew into a bright and joyful little boy who loved to chase his dog, Boomer, around the house. He loved dancing to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He carried his favorite blue baseball bat, sometimes mischievously dipping it into Boomer’s water bowl. From his high chair, he’d toss little bits of food to Boomer - something that never failed to make him giggle. With his light hair, striking blue eyes, and boundless energy, Brooks filled every room with laughter and love. Tragically, his life was cut short just months before his second birthday. His loss forever changed everyone who knew and loved him. We miss him every single day and strive to keep his memory alive in ways that bring light, hope, and positivity into the world.

Our goal

To honor Brooks’s memory, we are establishing the Brooks Martin Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will support students who are learning to navigate loss while building their futures. This scholarship exists not only to provide financial assistance but also to serve as a reminder that even after loss, there is strength to be found, purpose to be discovered, and a future worth pursuing. All proceeds will go directly to the Brooks Martin Memorial Scholarship, ensuring that Brooks’s legacy continues to inspire resilience, courage, and hope for years to come.

This is the fourth time that I have tried to contribute so I sure hope it works this time. Each time I get to the last page but there is nothing to tap to complete contribution??? Amy, no words can express the loss you faced after losing Brooks. I remember well that horrible day when Kelly called me with the devastating news! Starting this scholarship in Brook’s memory is such a precious gift. Please know you all continue in my thoughts and prayers. Happy heavenly birthday Brooks. Love and hugs.

I did not know Brooks, I worked with his dad, Tim and met his mom, Amy and lil brother Brady. I do not know how anyone could endure so much pain and keep going. God Bless this entire family. Always in my prayers.
