Our story
In January 2024, our family lost our beautiful daughter, Brinley Heckermann. She was a cheerleader and stunt athlete throughout high school. As a way to honor Brinley, our family would like to support students who intend to pursue a future in cheer or stunt in college.
Our goal
In January 2024, our family lost our beautiful daughter, Brinley Heckermann. She was a cheerleader and stunt athlete throughout high school. As a way to honor Brinley, our family would like to support students who intend to pursue a future in cheer or stunt in college. The Brinley Heckermann Empowering Spirit Scholarship is designed to recognize and support the achievements of high school cheerleaders and stunt athletes who exemplify dedication, leadership, and academic resilience. This scholarship aims to celebrate individuals who not only showcase exceptional skills in the realm of cheerleading and stunting and intend to pursue either sport in college but also maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Brinley may no longer be on this Earth, but she left behind her heart of gold that not even her 4th grade teacher could forget.
