Brian Tahair was rich in heart and soul. Brian did small things with great love. Brian’s insights and experiences were a valuable source of inspiration and motivation. Brian was thoughtful, bold, brave, kind, proud, courageous, strong, determined, had great humor and was inspiring. Brian was humble and he had a strong work ethic. Scholarship recipients will demonstrate Brian’s character, reputation and core values he held dear to him, possessed himself and emulated to his family, friends and colleagues. -Integrity in one’s beliefs and actions -Pursues passions and sets goals with a plan of action -Perseveres, connects, cherishes accumulated experiences and loves fiercely -Exhibits strengths in the face of challenges -Works hard and dreams big -Leads from the heart -Be in harmony with what you say and what you do -Meet tough conversations with grace and respect -Commit random acts of kindness in everyday life -Find opportunities to choose happy and smile -Choose what matters; the journey matters in the end -Nothing is impossible -People will never forget how you made them feel

Honor and further Brian Tahair’s legacy of living a life of gratitude. He is gone but never forgotten. We wish to support a person who emulates his character and wishes to pursue their dreams and goals. We hope to receive applicants that identify as having experienced being an underdog, connects with loss and the grief journey, may be socio-economical disadvantaged, has been given a second chance and/or has overcome an adversity and demonstrates resiliency. With this scholarship award we wish to champion a student who sees a barrier and keeps striving for their success being lead by their heart and with humbleness.
