Our goal

The reason we are starting this fund is to honor our friend and union brother Brian Ripple who passed away at the early age of 39. Brian was the Vice-President of UAW Local 281 and a huge proponent of individuals rights to join unions and collectively bargain. Brian served as CAP Chairman of Southeast Iowa CAP and impacted many lives through his political activism. Brian believed everyone deserved a seat at the table and worked tirelessly to ensure that right. Brian spent many hours knocking doors, phone banking and supporting politicians that support organized labor. It is through this fund that we would like to have Brian's legacy live on, through the education of people on labor and the need for people in the building trades.
