Our story
Ayana was a very kind and compassionate person. Music, swimming, traveling, and friends were very important in her life. She also loved God and church activities. She was very creative and smart in school activities as well. Band, Soccer, photographing and lending a helping hand to others were some of her high school involvements. Trusting and helping others were her most valuable traits. Being kind to others when others were not kind to her. These qualities are what may have caused her to lose her life on March 26, 2020. Belton family will always keep her in our HEARTS and miss her smile and kindness!
Our goal
Ayana had dreams of becoming a nurse. On March 26, 2020, at only 16 years old, Ayana life was taken from her due to a homicide incident before she could fulfill this dream. The Belton Family would like to offer this Scholarship to High School Seniors pursuing careers in nursing and who has a passion for helping others and giving back to those in need. In order to support students who wish to accomplish these goals, the Ayana Grace Belton Memorial Nursing Scholarship will honor Ayana’s memory and encourage the next generation of nursing students.
