Our goal

The family of Arne Hyson have created the Arne Hyson Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor his life and legacy. Arne was deeply dedicated to the mental health field and believed in the power of education to change lives. Each year, we aim to award two $1,500 scholarships to students pursuing studies in mental health or related healthcare fields. These scholarships are intended to support individuals who are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others — just as he did. Arne personally understood and experienced the challenges of accessing higher education without financial support. This fund is inspired by his values and lived belief that everyone deserves the chance to grow, learn, and help others heal. Your support helps carry forward his mission of compassion, opportunity, and care.
