Our story

Anthony Paschal, Sr., served as Student Body President for the Class of 1973. In the yearbook, beneath his photo, appears the quote he chose: “A man of talent, a leader for those who wish to be led.” – Miner No truer words could have been written about him. They perfectly capture the strength, character, and leadership that defined his life.

Our goal

In loving memory of Pastor Anthony W. Paschal, Sr., a devoted husband, father, educator, and mentor, we are launching the Anthony Paschal, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. Pastor Paschal dedicated his life to empowering young people through education and faith. He was a proud graduate and lifelong supporter of L.A. Union/Lynwood Academy, now Los Angeles Adventist Academy, where he often gave his time, resources, and encouragement to students pursuing their dreams. To continue his legacy of service and commitment to education, this scholarship will provide financial assistance to current and prospective high school students of Los Angeles Adventist Academy — giving them the opportunity to grow, learn, and lead just as he inspired so many to do. Our goal is to raise at least $500 to establish this fund and help deserving students access quality Adventist education in Pastor Paschal’s honor. Your contribution will not only celebrate his life and legacy but also ensure that his passion for youth and education continues to make an impact for generations to come. Join us in keeping the work that he did alive — one student, one dream, one scholarship at a time.
