Our goal

We are creating a memorial scholarship fund for Andrew (Andy) Schultze. Andy worked in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) trade for over 38 years. He started in a sheet metal shop pushing a broom and worked his way up, eventually achieving his dream of owning his own successful business for over 10 years. Andy was kind, hardworking, humble, and respected. He enjoyed seeing young people demonstrate an interest in his lifelong profession. While he recognized trade school or college was not always a requirement to be successful in his field, he knew students did learn the more technical aspects which was then fostered with on-the-job experience. Our family wanted to create a scholarship to give $1500 each year to one Suffolk County NY student who is interested in pursuing the trade of HVAC.

My father would look to help others through means in which he was proficient, HVAC. To be a point of reference for his employees but also friends and family. May my family and I continue to assist his field and provide opportunity to future HVAC professionals.

We are proud of the successful business accomplishments of our dear friend Andy and happy to support students who will follow his chosen career path. More than that, we are proud of the man Andy was. We want all recipients of these scholarships to know how much we admired his integrity, know how, and dedication to his clients, employees, and family.
