Our story
Allen worked for over 40 years in the automotive industry and even served on the board and test curation of Automotive Skills high school students at Kent Skills Technical Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Allen vehemently served West Michigan at Verburg’s Automotive Service Center where he started at just 18 years old and became the majority shareholder at his time of passing.
Our goal
The Allen Schwinkendorf Memorial Fund will be used to fund the Allen Schwinkendorf Memorial Scholarship which will be awarding money for budding Automotive Industry students just graduating from high school, something Allen himself did over 40 years ago! The fund will be managed by his Son, Connor and the family will be using the proceeds to fund the future of America’s next great Automotive Technicians!
