Our story
Alice Faye Parker worked for 15 years as a substitute teacher, primarily at Riverwood Elementary. She loved working with the students and staff at Riverwood, and she made a great impact on their lives during her time there.
Our goal
This fund is being establish to ensure that we can provide the Alice Faye Parker Memorial Scholarship to a worthy candidate. The Alice Faye Parker Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a qualified candidate who is planning on attending a 2 or 4 year college or university. Alice Faye Parker was a substitute teacher at Riverwood Elementary School in Clayton, NC for 15 years, and she placed a high value on education.
