A Chance For Tomorrow Scholarship Fund

I want to help students like me who have or are currently struggling financially to afford their education. I believe knowledge is the best tool you can give to anyone. I also believe that students shouldn't have to chose between their education and survival. I was one of the students who ended up homeless while pursuing my associates degree. My family used to stop at food pantries because we couldn't afford groceries, and I even had to take a break from my studies to support my family financially until I could return to school. Even today, I work as a registered behavior tech while studying because I cannot afford to only study. I was blessed with a scholarship and FAFSA but I almost lost my FAFSA due to a parent abandonment last year and the need of their signature. That is the reason why I, as a student want to create scholarships for other students. In the future I could like to create scholarships for individuals with disabilities, disorders and/or history of trauma/mental health illnesses. Life is hard as it is, studying shouldn't make it harder.
