Our goal

I am creating this scholarship fund because I believe that our neurodivergent population (including but not limited to, folks on the autism spectrum and those with ADHD) is not getting the support they need to self-actualize. I think that there are so many people who are so very capable who have been left behind due to an inability to conform to, among other things, our oftentimes very narrow and impersonal education systems. In multiple studies, college enrollment and graduation rates among neurodivergent students are shown to be markedly lower than those of their more neurotypical peers. And while education is neither a guarantee of success nor necessarily a requisite for it, the data is clear that life outcomes of the educated are better across the board, and the gap is only getting wider. I would like to fund a scholarship for a neurodivergent student(s) to attend college or a trade school and access the support they need in order to be successful. Let's team up to make a meaningful impact on an underserved student's life! With gratitute, Daniel
