Dear Venkata, I'm truly grateful for being selected as a recipient of the Emerging Leaders in STEM Scholarship. Learning that you believe in my potential fills me with pride and motivation as I pursue my studies in computer science. Your support is instrumental in helping me focus on both my education and my research interests, lessening the financial pressure that often stands in the way of students like myself. As someone living with a disability, I’m passionate about exploring Bioinformatics—especially its promise for addressing stubborn genetic conditions, including my own. This scholarship helps me keep moving forward in my goal to make meaningful contributions to the field and to inspire other women with disabilities to pursue their ambitions in STEM. I want to show them that it’s our resilience and drive that shape our futures. Your mission to empower underrepresented minorities in STEM and to innovate for equity aligns perfectly with my own values and dreams. It’s inspiring to see your commitment to building a more inclusive world where science and technology truly benefit all. Knowing that I’m part of a movement guided by such purposeful leadership gives me hope and determination. Thank you so much for your generosity and belief in my potential. Your support makes it possible for me to keep striving toward my goals, and I’m eager to make a positive impact in the world. Thank you, Ananya Budati
