Our mission is to invest in students who have been told—directly or indirectly—that their circumstances limit their potential. Through the Made for More Educational Scholarship, we aim to shift that narrative by providing meaningful financial support to Oakland and Bay Area youth who are building their futures through education and skill-based training. We believe access to education should not be determined by housing status, family income, or system involvement. Our philanthropic goal is to remove financial barriers while affirming each recipient’s agency, creativity, and right to dream boldly. We prioritize students who are first-generation college or trade school students and those whose paths have not been traditional, but who demonstrate resilience, vision, and commitment to growth. This mission is rooted in community care and collective responsibility. By funding this scholarship, we are not just supporting individual students—we are strengthening families, neighborhoods, and future leaders. Our hope is that every recipient feels encouraged to pursue what brings them purpose and joy, knowing they are supported by a community that believes they were made for more.
