I experienced being "the new kid" every year of my high school career. This put me at a disadvantage when it came to sports and extra curriculars as well as friendships and academics. While moving schools was extremely stressful, ultimately these experiences pushed me out of my comfortable zone and taught me resiliency at an earlier age than most of my peers. My mission is to provide scholarships to students who have been effected by a transfer during their high school years in order to alleviate some of the disadvantage they may have faced.
