To Deborah Thomas Scholarship Committee at 27Strong, Thank you for this answered prayer! I am so happy to be the recipient of the Deborah Thomas Scholarship. She led her life giving to others and this is what I aspire to continue to do myself. My grandparents came to this country with humble beginnings with faith in God. They believed that He would provide a better life for the family one day. I aspire to be become doctor! I feel led to work in a low-income community to give back to others, perhaps giving back to migrant field workers(as my great parents and grandmother). Your gift helped my family and I to pay for tuition. "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13, has been my verse since I was a young boy. Your belief in me gave me an extra push to keep pursuing my dreams and reinforced to me that I am on God's path that is set forth in front of me. Thank you for this blessing!
