Jonathan Fuentes

This scholarship means the world to me. Losing my little brother Evan when I was 13 years old, just a few weeks after his 10th birthday, left me distraught but with a new appreciation of how fleeting life can be and how important it is to make an impact while we're here. The scholarship money will help so much on my path to becoming a paramedic and firefighter. I will be thinking of both Skylar and Evan as I work hard to accomplish these goals and make them proud. My hope is to save as many lives as possible so other families don't have to face the tragedy of losing a loved one prematurely as our families have. From the bottom of my heart thank you and God bless you!
