This scholarship meant the world to me and had a huge impact on my Freshman year of college. Being recently diagnosed and struggling financially was a huge task for me, and Skin Grip's scholarship alleviated some of that stress. Recently, I've been informed that my diagnosis was for Type 1 rather than Type 2, and we are moving to insulin replacement.
