Knowing that this award carries forward Annika Clarisse’s life and legacy fills me with both gratitude and a profound sense of responsibility. Her legacy will not be forgotten—I will carry it with me in my work, my studies, and the change I strive to create. Your generosity eases the financial burden of pursuing my legal education, giving me the ability to focus on my passion: using the law to amplify voices that too often go unheard. I plan to enter the field of international law and relations, working across borders to protect human rights, advance equality, and challenge systems that marginalize people like us. I want to stand as living proof to the world that we are real, that we matter, and that our identities are worthy of dignity and respect everywhere. This scholarship is more than financial support—it is a statement of belief in my vision and my voice. It strengthens my resolve to fight for justice for all, to be an advocate for the unheard, and to help shape a future where equality is not negotiable.
