When my daughter was in her senior year of high school, we attended an award ceremony. To our dismay, the only kids receiving college scholarships were the top percen3% of the senior class. The Sunshine Legall Scholarship Fund is a scholarship fund for black and brown teens. The fund will be for those kids with good, mediocre, and poor grades. The fund's mission is intended to provide financial support to encourage underserved Black and Brown high school seniors and GED recipients to seek higher education. With better opportunities to learn, students can start to thrive.
