Dear Seto Family, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for awarding me the Rebecca Lynn Seto Memorial Scholarship. I feel incredibly privileged to be recognized in this way, and I’m honored to carry on Rebecca Lynn Seto's legacy through this scholarship. This support lifts a weight from my shoulders, making it possible for me to focus even more on my studies and my commitment to serving children with disabilities. As a single mom to three wonderful children, including my sons who have benefitted so much from early intervention, I know firsthand how vital this work can be. My path toward becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist isn't just a career choice—it's a calling inspired by my own family’s journey with Autism and speech therapy. Your generosity means so much, not just to me but also to the children and families I hope to serve in the future. Knowing that Rebecca dedicated her life to this cause motivates me to give my best and make a positive difference in the pediatric disability community. Dear Seto Family, You have changed my life. I am beyond grateful to have been chosen as the recipient of the Rebecca Lynn Seto Memorial Scholarship. I am not even sure that it is possible to express my gratitude in writing. Your family has impacted my life and my future in ways you cannot imagine. I have recorded at least twenty "thank you" videos but could not make it through a single one without bursting into tears. My heart is so heavy knowing that I was granted such a gift because you lost your sweet Becky. I never had the privilege of meeting or knowing Rebecca, but man—I wish I did. It's clear that she was an absolute light in the lives of everyone she met and a blessing to all of her family. It means so much to me to be recognized in this way, and I am honored to carry on Rebecca Lynn Seto’s legacy through this scholarship. I look forward to carrying Rebecca in my heart as I become a teacher. I really hope to make the Seto family proud. Thank you for seeing me, thank you for believing in me.
