I plan to dedicate my life to helping others. On an individual level, by becoming a doctor and caring for the health of my community, and on a broader scale, by working in health policy to help ensure that advances in healthcare are accessible to all. This journey requires not only attending college, but hopefully medical school as well. As the oldest of three, I have always hoped to inspire my younger brothers by striving for excellence. I am proud to share that I have been accepted to Duke University and will be joining the Class of 2029 this fall. This scholarship has eased the financial burden of my education, allowing my brothers the freedom to pursue their own dreams, while also bringing me one step closer to achieving mine. I am deeply honored to be a recipient of the MexiDreams Scholarship.
