Honestly, I haven't had a chance to win a scholarship and I think it's really hard for a first-generation student to write very good essay and get a chance to win one. I have nearly applied to hundreds and haven't gotten a response back, this is only because I'm learning and I'm proud that I had a part in this scholarship, hoping to win the next one.
