Good afternoon! I wanted to send a thank you to express my gratitude for selecting me as one of the winners of this scholarship! It truly means a lot to my family and me as I pursue my degree in biochemistry, and I wanted to thank you for the support you give to students like me because it has truly made a difference in my life! The financial burden of higher education always seemed to weigh heavily on my parent's shoulders, and it saddened me to watch them sink into the stress of money over my tuition. It means a lot to me that I can wait for my mom to come from work today and tell her the news and watch her smile brighten! Thank you again for this opportunity!
