The Gloria Rickett Memorial Scholarship fund wants to inspire and assist high school students with a passion to pursue careers in Nursing, Childhood Development and the Arts. Gloria had a passion for the development of children of all ages. Though not an artist, she had a great appreciation of the arts and how it enriched the lives of everyone. She also had a grandmother that served as a nurse in WWI and was sent to France, she continued her nursing career with the military during WWII and continued to service in veterans' hospitals for the remainer of her career.
