This scholarship was created to ease the financial burden that applying to and matriculating into dental school comes with! As a re-applicant and looking back at how everything went down for me, finances were a tremendous piece of the puzzle. My father has always told me “Money is a tool.” Taking the DAT 3 times was expensive and stressful! If you know, you know! Luckily, I had support and was able to get everything taken care of. I just want to give back and be that help for someone as a small token of my appreciation of this journey towards becoming a first-generation dentist!
