Words alone are not enough to express how grateful I am for this opportunity. This achievement serves as a source of hope for me and my family, and I am highly grateful that you have seen potential in me, and that I have been supported with this scholarship. Thank you for making my dreams come true.

Good morning and thank you very much! This nomination for the final made my day! I'm putting all my effort into being the best student and athlete I can be. My first semester was exceptional in every way: great classes, great teachers, and a great baseball team; they all made me feel at home. I was named to the Dean's List and it is something that I am very proud of and that inspires me to continue on my path Thank you again for your support and for helping me achieve the American Dream Sincerely Jacopo Tamburini

Dear Donor, Pierson Family It means so much to be on the final list. It tells me that I have a chance of being helped one day. Knowing that numerous donors are reading my story and changing individuals' or low-income students' lives motivates me to keep applying and not quit. Thus, I've already applied for almost 500 scholarships, and such recognition boosts me up to apply for more scholarships. Thank you for choosing me to be on the final list. Sincerely,
Favour Ogueri
Winning the Pierson Family Scholarship would mean the realization of a dream for me—a chance to break through financial barriers and embrace the transformative power of higher education in the United States. It would symbolize not only recognition of my hard work, dedication, and potential but also an incredible opportunity to join a global community of scholars who are passionate about learning and making a difference. This scholarship would empower me to focus entirely on my studies, personal growth, and aspirations without the overwhelming burden of financial constraints. It would also inspire me to give back and uplift others, demonstrating that barriers, no matter how challenging, can be overcome with support, resilience, and determination. Thank you very much Pierson Family!!!

It quite literally means everything, this scholarship would be a dream come through, it would literally change my life forever. Growing it has literally been a dream of mine of to study abroad, especially the United States, being an international student is especially hard because you have to three times as better as everyone else to get the opportunities that U.S citizens have, so this scholarship would literally work wonders in my educational journey, my parents wouldn't have to worry so much about my tuition, they can have rest filled nights because of this scholarship, they don't have to lose sleep wondering how my tuition would be paid, because they earn in naira and have to pay in dollars and the current Nigerian economy is doing a lot of damage rather than good, so thank you so much, so, so, so, so, much. I literally I am so grateful thank you for this opportunity. Thank you so much Pierson Family, I am happiest girl on earth right now because of this, little me would literally be so happy to see her lifelong dream actualizing. thank you so much. I really, really appreciate it.

Good day to you Pierson Family. I thank you sincerely for selecting me as a finalist for the Pierson Family Scholarship for US Studies. Coming to this nation, only ever having lived in one other - on a completely different continent - required me to look into myself and find courage, resilience, passion and a willingness to explore the unknown. Adjusting was not easy but I regret none of it and am so looking forward to what is yet to come. Being selected as a finalist reinforced my belief that I am on right right track in terms of how I process and express my experience here. I hope to again submit an entry for this scholarship if opportunity presents itself, and I thank you with all my heart for creating it and encouraging international students like me to press on bravely.
