For me, it is an honor and blessing to become the recipient of this prestigious scholarship. This scholarship will help me fulfill my dream of getting a university degree and graduating to become the first professional within my family. Being a first-generation Latino undergraduate has been an amazing experience in which I have developed different skills that I know will help me in my future endeavors.
