The North Dakota Safety Council provides community and workplace safety training and advocacy throughout North Dakota. The NDSC is a private, non-profit organization, The NDSC Mission: We are dedicated to preventing injuries and saving lives. The NDSC Vision: Make North Dakota the safest state in the nation. The North Dakota Safety Council, along with the Deutscher Family Memorial, offers the Foundation 4 Change Scholarship. This initiative aims to provide educational opportunities to deserving students. The Foundation 4 Change Scholarship will serve as a lasting tribute to the Deutscher Family Memorial, ensuring Aaron, Allison, Brielle, and the unborn baby Deutscher's memory continues to inspire positive change and empower future generations. In July 2012, Aaron, Allison, Brielle, and unborn baby Deutscher were killed by a drunk driver while traveling to a family reunion. Five people were tragically killed in this preventable incident that shook communities across North Dakota. The scholarship honoring this fun, loving, and active family intends to spread awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving.
