I have been a critical care nurse for the past 35 years and I have worked in the Emergency rooms as well as ICU, and have been an educator for the past 6 years. I want to raise funds for scholarships to better support people who are often turned down for scholarships, or who are older adults wishing to return to school or change careers. Nursing has given so much to me, and I became a nurse after the loss of my daughter to Cystic Fibrosis. I want to continue her legacy of giving back to nursing by providing much-needed help to others who want to pursue their dream of being a caregiver.
