Mister Ross, I cannot thank you enough for the generous scholarship award! I feel so fortunate to receive aid towards my degree, and I am extremely honored to be given this award in the name of Mrs Mcristle Ross. Without her, artists like me would not have the opportunities we have now to share our stories through artistic expression. She paves the way for pure black art and guides us in her wake. Being a painter is one of the things I value most in my life, and it gives me confidence to continue on my path when others support me in this way. I will never forget this award, and I will remember to give back in the ways that you and your family have given to me when I am in the position to do so.
