Mission

My scholarship, in loving memory of Jose Prado my father, is founded on the profound belief in the transformative power of education. As a first-generation college graduate, I understand intimately the doors education can open. It is my mission to empower Hispanic minorities, echoing my own journey, by providing them with the means to pursue higher education. Through this support, we aim not only to enrich individual lives but also to uplift entire communities. Together, let us forge a brighter future, one where education becomes the cornerstone of empowerment and progress.

Alexander Dominguez Alexanderd3716@gmail.com 7/20/2024 Good morning/evening Mirta I hope this finds you well. I wanted to reach out and make a thank you letter to you and your family as well as anybody else who made it possible for this scholarship to come to life. This scholarship is a significant milestone in my academic life as well as my personal life. This scholarship has made a significant impact on my life and family in knowing we have more aid and has lifted some weight off of our shoulders on paying for college and graduating with as little debt as possible. This aid that you have provided me with has provided some more flex with my education I can more confidently take some time off from work when needed during finals week to study and focus on graduating with straight A's throughout college and getting the top grades on the final tests. This has also shown a beacon of hope for the future and it's also a source of motivation and encouragement for my family and I. Knowing there are people like you in the world who are willing to invest in other people's educations has inspired me as well to help others out as well whenever I can and also do the same once I'm out of college and help the younger with their college financial aid knowing the struggles we went through as first-generation college student and soon to be graduates in the future. Once again, from all of my heart and my family thank you for your generosity we are grateful for this incredible opportunity and will always remember your kindness. With sincere appreciation, Alexander Dominguez and the dominguez family
