The James Diorato scholarship is to honor the memory of James Diorato who spent his career working for commercial airlines. The funds are to help students pursuing a career in aviation. Before retiring James spent his aviation career working for Pan American Airlines at JFK Airport in New York. The Augustin Gonzalez scholarship is to honor the memory of Augustin "Gus" Gonzalez who spent his career as a NYC police officer and then detective. Gus was a hero during the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and spent many hours at ground zero helping others.
