We own a restaurant called Maverick Grill Saloon. Maverick stands for the one that stands out from the herd. We want to pick out a local student from our community who is a maverick with a $1500 scholarship. We don’t just want to pick the smartest in the brightest. We want to choose someone unique. Who isn’t perfect, however, is unique in their way that can benefit not only the community but change lives all around us.
