Dear MAD BOX Studios LLC, I’m incredibly grateful to be chosen as a recipient of the Mad Grad Scholarship. Your support means so much to me, and I feel both honored and motivated to have your belief behind my creative journey. Receiving this scholarship gives me the freedom to fully immerse myself in my craft without the itching worry of financial strain. It allows me to focus on telling the stories that matter to me, and more importantly, to bring forward narratives that often go unheard in the world of film. As an Asian American woman passionate about cinematography, I’ve often found myself working to carve out a space in an industry that hasn’t always welcomed voices like mine. My mission is to make storytelling a bridge—to bring empathy and connection to the screen while opening doors for others who are still waiting for their chance. The support from MAD BOX Studios LLC helps me pursue this mission and ensures I can continue collaborating with my community to create visual poetry that resonates on a deep, human level. Your commitment to informing, inspiring, and entertaining the world through storytelling is something I deeply admire.
