Mission

It has always been my passion to give back to the next generation, especially since so many people have helped me. My mission is to assist underrepresented minorities pursuing a STEM career by providing a scholarship. Since I am an alumna of an HBCU with an engineering degree and a successful career in STEM, I am particularly fond of HBCUs and their successful STEM programs.

    Jahmari Brown

Jahmari Brown I am genuinely grateful to be bestowed this award for my future academic pursuits. I have already met a surplus of people who have given me a hand in these pursuits, especially those within the STEM field. While I am still learning at FAMU, I am slowly but surely leaning toward my goal. I have been learning many architectural design principles to reach my goal and will continue to do so until I finally achieve it. Again, I thank you for this opportunity.

    Jelia Williams

Being a winner of the Undergraduate Minorities in STEM Scholarship would mean a great deal to me, Jelia Williams, as a junior majoring in cybersecurity. This scholarship would not only provide financial support to help me continue my education but also serve as a recognition of my hard work and dedication to pursuing a career in STEM. As an underrepresented minority, I am passionate about breaking barriers and contributing to the field of cybersecurity. Winning this scholarship would inspire me to keep pushing forward and to give back to my community by mentoring others who aspire to enter STEM fields. It would also reinforce my commitment to excellence and innovation in my studies and future career.
